Founded in 1870 in Alsace, G.E. Massenez remains today one of the last family-owned firms dedicated to the production of traditional, top-quality eaux-de-vies and crèmes. Massenez eaux-de-vie are double distilled, thus intensifying the fruit character, the “heart”, in the resulting distillate. Approximately 20 pounds of fruit is required to produce one bottle of eau-de-vie.
