This year’s was inspired by Calaveritas de Azucar and other colorful decorations seen during this festivity. The base of the decanter features a vivid, stylized illustration of traditional Día de Muertos decorations such as cempasúchil blossoms, papel picado (paper cut outs) and sugar calaveritas, as well as a lustrous, silver-plated ornament.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Sugarcane juice, quince marmalade, dried fruit, toasted walnut, almond.
Palate: Candied orange peel, clove, walnut, cacao.
Finish: Long sumptuous finish of sugarcane juice, toasted oak.
