We named this whiskey El Murciélago (Spanish for “the bat”) to pay homage to the Mexican long-nosed bat responsible for pollinating agave plants. The malty fruitiness of our whiskey marries harmoniously with the earth and floral notes of ex-tequila barrels after spending 18 months aging in them. Vanilla on the nose yields to apple, pear, and pepper on the palate. Drink nocturnally._
