Ballantine’s continues its Masterclass Collection with The Waiting, an extraordinary 40-year-old scotch crafted to honor the artistry of past and present master blenders. Sourced from rare reserves laid down by former master blender Jack Goudy in American oak casks, this opulent release is a collaboration across time, perfected by current master blender Sandy Hyslop. Bottled at cask strength (45.4% ABV), The Waiting showcases “smooth sweet tones,” “gentle smoke,” and an unparalleled depth of flavor.

Limited to just 108 bottles worldwide, each is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship. Individually numbered and adorned with gold accents, the presentation includes a stunning 3D art box designed by Scottish artist Kyla McCallum, blending origami and geometry for a modern yet timeless aesthetic.
