The Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. This whisky was matured in casks from Islay, that soaked in smoky aromas and salty flavors, and was then blended with ex-bourbon barrel-aged single malt. The Elements Peated integrates the fruity notes of the new make into the casks typical Islay peaty notes; the result is a delicate, rather mellow, and lightly peated whisky.
Aroma: Delightfully fresh, A distinct smoky, earthy scent opens to a unique balance of vanilla and oak notes, with a hint of lemon.
Palate: Medium bodied. Vanilla sweetness is followed by a delicate peat touch. A light spiciness accompanies ginger and lemon flavors.
Finish: Long, The peat coast the mouth, with delicate oak and lemon flavors lingering on the tongue.
